i lost my brakes, spun out and then was hit head on after i got the car to stop....no one was hurt....but the insurance company says it 100 percent my falt bc i stopped on the side of oncoming traffic..even tho the kid that hit must havent been payin attention bc he could have slowed down a bit or went around me.. but instead hit me full forse.... so basically my car is totaled and i dont get shit.........

Sorry to hear about your mishap. The velle isn't a unitbody, so you'll have to straighten out the front end by pulling out your bent chassis. You can replace the front fenders and upper and lower suspension arms, but if you can't straighten out the chassis, then it will mean you'll have to get a new perimeter box frame (most times you should be able to pull it out, unless you ended up twisted. A straight hit from the front or side should pull out). You could try welding, but it isn't the best fix for a full framed car. If its bent, then just find a body person willing to pull it out. A new chassis will mean you'll almost have to restore the car from the ground up. Good luck.

yeah well the frame is bent at the fire wall, it can be bent back but would never be perfect, so i am just goin to look for another chevelle with a good front clip and chassis for cheep and swap my body onto it. i figure i will have the car back on the road by june. maybe with ghost flames.

sorry to hear about the car. I am sure you will able to find aother in good shape, there are tons out there you just have to find the right one. If you want help putting her back together i am sure you will find a hand or two on the boards. i hope everything turns out good, i know how you feel though. last year i got rear-ended by a drunk driver, car was in the shop for half the summer.

Hey, where are you located? My uncle does lots of older Chevy stuff... he might have some front end parts. Dunno about a whole frame though.
I'll call him.

Well, I talked to my dad... Uncle was hard to get a hold of. He's restoring a late 60's GTO right now... So he might have some people with front end parts/frame if you still need it. I'll go leave a few more messages for him on his bussiness line. ;)
