Well Another 10-Bolt w/ 3.42's Bit The Bucket Today To A Minor Bolt On LT1 Drag Radial Car.
That's 2 In A Year's Time.
Backed Out Of A Spot @ Work Put It Into Drive To Pull Away And BOOM! :yikes:
Can't Figure This Out...I Def. Need The $ To Grab A Moser or A Strange 12-Bolt.

Damn this is getting expensive. You will need bulletproofing just to break even. Sorry to hear it.

wow it just went like that on the street. That's pretty crazy. The 12 bolt can be a pretty expensive upgrade but at least it gives you some peace of mind. Good luck Chuck things can be discouraging when stuff starts to break.

nah just giving him an option that does work...just like a 9" yet another ford item...but all seriousness i know moser makes a killer 8.8 for those cars an those rears hold up well into the 8s
making 4 xtimes as much power a chuck just an option for him

moser can custom make rears for those cars is what i was told from an f-body person who was looking into it for himself but the abs set was too much to ad on bc he wanted to keep that

i have no idea who he spoke with this was sometime in feb i think...i could be wrong with who he said but i was under the impression it was moser...ill make note of DTS, altho i dont have a f-body or do i???? :angel:

Extreme Chassis make's the 8.8 for the Fbod's. its like 1700 bux or somthing like that.. 9" is the way to go...

My SECOND Moser is holding up well, just make sure they have the right backlash on it before you install it....I should have.... 3 days is all it took to chew itself up. Thought it had a really weird sound but everyone said the whine is normal, but it was extremely excessive whine I said.............

That's what I finally put in(Currie 9"), after breaking the stock rear 10 too many times. In my case it was $2,600 well spent.
