Seems my car is not jetted correctly for a 150 shot.. Does anyone know the numbers so I can see what jet I have now.
Also.. I need the Fuel jet numbers too.
My car made 164 RWHP on the juice on a 150 shot of NX??
Thats not normal.. Maybe from TNT but not NX so I am thinking the jetting is off..
P.S. VERRRRRRY HAPPY with my numbers since I was in Unlock on the converter and the exhaust is EXTREMELY choking..

Waaaaay too lean in my book Mike.. Gonna get TheVetteDoctors to retune my car and see what we can do.

lean is mean.lol.. i dont know about nitrous guys, but i never see anything over 11.7-.8 under boost.... i thought nx rated there hp numbers at the rear wheels? once carmen ritchens it up a bit you'll probably fall down to 150rwhp or a little less..

Ya know what.. To be honest Jay.. Pampena forgot to print out the torque I guess... I see A/F and RWHP no RWTQ numbers :(
I am hoping that richening it will bring the horse alittle down to be honest.. 164 is alittle higher than I want with my stock Fuel system. 150 I am happy with.... NX claims 2 hp off their mark.
so a 150 is 148-152.. not 164!!!

why dont you try upping the fuel jetting and leaving the nitrous jetting as is first. see what that does for you before you start changing things electronically.

Well.. I am definately gonna need a tune... I have done a few things and havent tuned the car for it.
I would up the fuel jetting but I dont know what number John put in to begin with.. So I dont know what number to put in now :(
I also dont want that big of a shot on the car.. Can you imagine if the converter was locked the whole time? There would be more horse.. I am thinking there is either a 175 or a 200 shot on right now and I have stock injectors and pump... I dont need headaches right now. LOL
Thats why I figured I would ask around for the jet numbers.. But I may just end up emailing NX. They are gone for the weekend I am sure thats why I figured I would rome the boards for the information.
Getting excited for the trual duals!!

You are way off the mark with saying that nx is within 2 hp. Maby in a stock car with stock exhaust manifolds. Once you introduce headers etc it all changes. Point of reference is my friends car that made 317 n/a and 505 with a 150 nx kit. that is with the 150 jets that come with the kit.
With the tune all should be right on

Yeah he is an AWESOME GUY.. Took time to talk to me and explain what was going on with my dyno.. It was messed up.
Jer'.. I was unaware that if you had headers and such it would change.. but it does make sense.. I guess I just read their site and took what they said.. but they were talking about stock I guess. :(

When they setup these kits they are set for stock cars. There are too many mods out there for them to say this will make this much hp with this type of headers etc.

You can't have my ls1 but I will sell you my dad's 2.5L 5 cylinder acura's engine pretty cheap. It's only got about 150k on it. Should handle a 300 shot no problem. hahaha

I am jetted for 150 but my af cant handle that right now and I dont know what size to go with the fuel jet.. So i will drop it down till I can get some tuning..

I asked about the Air Fuel Ratio gagues awhile back.. EVERYONE told me they sucked and werent trustworthy :(

hey steve, on another note i forgot to mention this yesterday... if your cars is seeing mid 14's for an afr on the dyno it will be even leaner on the street...unless you dynoed the car on a dyno that can put a real load on the car your afr will be different in the real world...

Noooo, we didn't say they ALL weren't trustworthy...we said the normal Autometer ones weren't...they're just pretty lights and thats it
BUT we also said there were others that were in fact pretty accurate

Here's where you can get a little of a more accurate Autometer gauge...although wideband obviously is best (http://www.gadgetseller.com/gauges/modifiedproducts.htm)

Also, Thanks Jay.. I wasnt happy with the AFR at all.. so its time to get the exhaust done, and then dyno tune the car...
I just we could just get this right.. AFR not big deal if dealt with quickly.. but it could have gotten really bad if I didnt dyno the car and find out what was going on before I did 4-5 passes down the track on juice!
The car makes decent power on the juice right now. N/A the car is slower than most acura's out there. LOL
I PM'ed ya Jay about true duals.. I think I would like it full exhaust over the axles but I need to know a price. I have the other guy thinking it is a done deal but he never ordered anything up for me and I would like to atleast let him know by monday if we are still on or I went a different route.
